EZ-Fill® Xpress Bi-Directional Spiral Nickel-Titanium Intro Kit thoroughly coats the walls of the root canal and lateral canals without significant cement being forced apically.
It combined with a single gutta percha point technique has been shown to create a seal equivalent to lateral condensation and thermoplastic gutta percha.
The reverse spirals on the apical end rotate in an unwinding direction out of the canal, and thus never bind.
Unlike thermoplastic techniques there is no shrinkage upon cooling.
The patented EZ-Fill bidirectional spiral whips EZFill non-eugenol epoxy cement laterally preventing cement being driven past the apex allowing a complete seal when used in conjunction with gutta percha.
If you want to increase the flowability of EZ-Fill mix it with a warm metal spatula.
No lateral stress on the root.
Room temperature obturation.
